Veer Bal Diwas

It is observed to remember the bravery and sacrifice of the two younger sons (Sahibzade) of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.Guru Gobind Singh Ji had four sons, known as the Sahibzade.
The elder sons, Baba Ajit Singh Ji and Baba Jujhar Singh Ji, fought bravely in the Battle of Chamkaur and were martyred on 7th December 1705.The younger sons, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji (9 years old) and Baba Fateh Singh Ji (7 years old), were captured by Mughal soldiers and kept with their grandmother, Mata Gujri Ji.
On 26th December 1705, the young Sahibzade were killed at Sirhind because they refused to give up their faith. Mata Gujri Ji passed away the same day due to deep sorrow.Today, we remember the Sahibzade on Veer Bal Diwas, honoring their bravery and inspiring everyone—especially children—to always stand for what is right.
